Mastercard × Riyad Bank / Open record
Silenceis notan answer.
I am not asking to enter Mastercard’s investigation room. I am asking to be told where the door led.
00 / STATEMENT
Let the record be unmistakably clear.
This is not a demand to interfere in Mastercard’s internal investigation. It is not a demand for confidential deliberations, investigative methods, or disciplinary decisions. It is a demand for something more basic:tell the complainant what procedural path his report took—and what lawful path remains available now.
On October 25, 2025, Mastercard wrote that my case was under investigation. It described that process as an internal investigation concerning the issuer’s compliance with regulations. The issuer was Riyad Bank. That confirmation did not establish guilt, a violation, or a penalty. I have never represented it as doing so.
But confirmation carries meaning. A case cannot be important enough to escalate and investigate, then become so procedurally invisible that the person who supplied the report cannot learn whether it was concluded, redirected, or remains open.
THE LINE I WILL NOT CROSS
I do not claim a verdict Mastercard never issued.
An investigation is not a conviction. Silence is not an admission. I will not manufacture findings, invent access to internal systems, or pretend to know what Mastercard communicated privately to Riyad Bank.
THE LINE THEY CANNOT ERASE
I will continue asking what happened to my report.
Confidentiality may limit what Mastercard can disclose. It does not require pretending that a documented complainant, two case references, and four submissions simply ceased to exist.
01 / THE DOCUMENTED PATH
Four signals entered the system.
What follows is a correspondence record—not a reconstruction of undisclosed internal activity.
- OCT 17, 2025
REPORT FILED
A compliance complaint concerning two Riyad Bank cards was submitted to Mastercard.
- OCT 25, 2025
INVESTIGATION CONFIRMED
Mastercard described Case 5388285 as under internal investigation regarding issuer compliance.
- FEB 09, 2026
RECORDS REQUESTED
A separate request sought technical and processing evidence; Mastercard referred the cardholder to the issuer.
- AUG 19 + 26, 2026
FOLLOW-UPS SUBMITTED
Two further requests were submitted through Mastercard’s website. No subsequent reply is documented as of publication.
MASTERCARD / OCTOBER 25, 2025
“We have escalated your inquiry to the relevant team and your case is under investigation.”
Mastercard further described it as “an internal investigation regarding the issuer’s compliance with regulations.” These words establish the existence and stated subject of the investigation at that time. They do not establish its outcome or current status.
02 / TWO INSTITUTIONS
Different roles. No permission to disappear.
MASTERCARD
Confidentiality is understood. Procedural erasure is not.
I accept that Mastercard may be unable to disclose investigative findings, enforcement measures, or protected third-party information. My request is narrower: state whatever procedural status can lawfully be disclosed, confirm whether later submissions were associated with the original case, and identify the correct route for further evidence.
RIYAD BANK
If the record is wrong, answer it with records.
Riyad Bank has every right to dispute my account. It may present logs, custody records, authorization data, complaint records, and technical explanations to the competent authorities. What it cannot reasonably expect is that general denials will permanently answer specific, documented questions.
03 / QUESTIONS STILL FLASHING
No secrets requested.
No invented verdict.
Just a traceable answer.
- 01
Was Case 5388285 concluded, closed, transferred, or left pending?
- 02
Were records relevant to the reported card events preserved?
- 03
Were the August 2026 submissions linked to the original case?
- 04
Which channel can receive evidence without sending the complainant back into the same unresolved loop?
04 / PUBLIC NOTICE
Silence will not make this record smaller.
If Mastercard officials believe that silence will compel me to stop documenting this case, they are mistaken. I will continue publishing the evidence-led record and presenting it to parties with a legitimate professional connection to the questions raised: payment-security specialists, regulators, data-protection authorities, relevant business partners, award and standards bodies where their published criteria are engaged, and investigative newsrooms.
This is not a threat conditioned on payment, settlement, or silence. Publication proceeds independently. The purpose is scrutiny, correction, preservation of evidence, and institutional accountability.
05 / THE OPEN CHALLENGE
Bring the evidence.
Correct me in public.
If Mastercard or Riyad Bank holds records that disprove my published account, produce them through a competent and documented process. Identify the error. Explain the chronology. Correct the record. I will publish a substantiated correction and accept responsibility for demonstrable errors.
I am prepared to place my original documents, full correspondence, and preserved metadata before the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia. My position is not that I am beyond examination. My position is that the institutions named in this record should be equally prepared for it.
